About Us
Our History
The vision of the church came through our Father and Presiding Bishop Eliakim Babu many years. God impressed upon him the need to establish a ministry that would equip and train believers to reach out to the lost with the Gospel as well as meeting their physical needs. Together with the wife, Pastor Patriciah Jeckonia Babu, the Lord has been faithful in using them to lead this vision to reality.
The church was launched on 16th October 2011 at Embakasi, Nairobi County, Kenya. There were only a few families who came together to establish International Lifehouse House (ILC) at the time. The ministry passed through a testing period that saw many members leave the church. These were years of character development; however, God’s faithfulness has been real. He continues to give us clarity on how to do ministry. We see lives changed, the hopeless getting the hope, the poor getting lifted, the youths understanding their destinies and becoming effective in the society.
At the moment, we are at our growth stage that requires lots of support in establishing working systems. We are also expanding into other areas of Kenya and beyond, to the glory of God. We continue to look for and appeal to partners to join and support us as we seek to touch hearts and change lives for Christ.
We are committed to growing a network of vibrant, faith-filled, spiritually mature and equipped believers through teaching the undiluted word of God, evangelism, discipleship, prayer, fellowships, community service and partnering with like-minded institutions to
strengthen the body of Christ in Kenya and beyond.
We believe in: The Holy Trinity (God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit); baptism by immersion in many waters; the infilling, indwelling and manifestation of the Holy Spirit; signs and wonders that accompany those who believe in God; Salvation through the blood of Jesus; the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ; partaking of the Holy communion; serving God with resources including finances; and that with God all things
are possible.
